All Things Bright and Beautiful..... Poem| English Poem | Poem on God| Cecil Frances Alexander

All Things Bright and Beautiful..... Poem| English Poem | Poem on God| Poem by Cecil Frances Alexander,Poem For English Recitation Competition

All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all.

Each little flower that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
He made their glowing colours,
He made their tiny wings.

The purple-headed mountain,
The river running by,
The sunset , and the morning,
That brightens up the sky;

The cold wind in the winter,
The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
He made them every one.

He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell,
How great is God Almighty,
Who has made all things well.

My Shadow...... Poem| Poem on Shadow |Poem by R L Stevenson| Primary School Poem | Poem For Competition | English Poem

English Poems, English Poem for Primary School , English Poem for competition, Poem on Shadow, My Shadow......., Poem by R L Stevenson

I have a little shadow
that goes in and out with me.
And what can be the use of him
is more than I can see.
He is very, very like me
from the heels up to the head.
And I see him jump before me
when I jump into my bed.

The funniest thing about him
is the way he likes to grow-
Not at all like proper children.
     which is always very slow.
For he sometimes shoots up taller
     like an India- rubber ball.
And he sometimes gets so little
that there's none of him at all.

                                                       R. L. Stevenson

Pencil Magic Poem | Poem on Pencil | Yellow Pencil | Poem by Jane Merchant

Poem on pencil, Pencil Magic...............,Poem for class three, Primary class poems, Yellow pencil, Poem by Jane Merchant

I like a yellow pencil,
A shiny yellow pencil,
With a rub-away eraser,
And a point all sharply black.

I can draw all kinds of pictures,
Of animals, things and people,
With a shiny yellow pencil,
There isn't a thing I lack!

If I want a brand new spaceship,
Or a secret house in a tree top,
Or a friendly bear to play with,
Or eleven ducks on a pond.

I've only to use my pencil,
And there they are on the paper,
Oh, a shiny yellow pencil,
Is a magical fairy wand!

Poem on a Mouse The Furry Home..........| Rhyme on a Mouse Primary School| English Poem on a Mouse

Poem on a Mouse The Furry Home......................Primary School Rhymes. English Poem on a mouse.

The Furry Home

If I were a Mouse,
And wanted a house,
I think I would choose,
My new red shoes.

Furry edges, Fur inside,
What a lovely place to hide,
I would not travel,
I would not roam,
Just sit in
My furry home.

Poem on Clouds, Grey Clouds Grey Clouds.............for rainy season. Primary School rhymes and Poems.

CLOUDS

Grey Clouds, Grey Clouds,
On a blue hill,
When the winds stops,
You all stand still.
When the wind blows,
You walk away slow,
O, grey clouds.
Where do you go?

Primary School Poem on Rabbits, The Little Bunny...........................Poem on Rabbit

This Little Bunny
Has two pink eyes.
This Little Bunny
Is very wise.
This Little Bunny
Is soft as silk.
This Little Bunny
Is white as milk.
This Little Bunny
Nibbles away
At  cabbages and carrots
The long, long day!
